Sam has flashbacks of a case he worked with Samuel. Sam and Dean follow the coordinates received in a text message to a small town, where Sam used to live. townspeople’s comments surprise Dean.

Bobby and Dean wait to see if Death was able to restore Sam’s soul without complications. Dean must prove himself worthy of receiving the only weapon in the world that can slay a dragon.

Dean contacts Death in hopes of getting Sam’s soul back. Sam asks Balthazar for a protective spell.

Dean is suspicious of Samuel’s motives and a hunting trip goes horribly awry.

Sam and Dean investigate a rash of suicides and discover that someone is invoking the Goddess of Truth to drive the victims crazy.

After young girls go missing, Dean and Sam realize vampires have come to town. Dean is bitten during a fight with two vampires.

Bobby asks Dean and Sam for help after Crowley refuses to return Bobby’s soul. a deep secret about Crowley is revealed.

Sam and Dean seek Castiel’s help when they investigate a case of police officers who seem to have been killed by Egyptian plagues.

Sam investigates when the parents of missing babies are murdered. Dean reluctantly leaves Ben and Lisa to help Sam.

The sixth season begins with Sam being released from hell and trying to convince Dean to rejoin him in fighting evil. To help persuade him, Sam introduces Dean to a new family led by their grandfather Samuel.
